Sailor Moon:
Hino Rei

My Comments:

One of my two Sailor Moon costumes. I needed a costume that I could make to be school appropriate to wear on the last day of school my freshman year. And what better than a school uniform! Yes, I enjoy worrying my teachers sometimes heehee. So my friend Lauren and I decided to make matching Rei costumes. We made the short sleeve version instead of the longsleeved version though. Great for the sunday of a-kon too since there really isn't much going on then. The skirts were made from a cheerleading skirt pattern that was altered to be a couple inches longer. The overshirts were made from a vest pattern that was unaltered, and the undershirts were purchased along with the shoes and knee high socks. The collars were made from a pattern I created and made with various cotton fabric and some bias tape. *Note: bias tape is your friend cause it's always there in the color you need when the ribbon isn't* Sorry that there's only one picture right now, I couldn't seem to find any.
